Brie and Caramelized Mushroom Mini Tarts

Last weekend we had the esteemed privileged of welcoming in a new member to our family (pictured below). This darling little southern belle, is soon to be wed to HH's cousin within the following weeks ahead. They have chosen to do a destination wedding, in the Caribbean at one of those fancy condominium's; I just love that! So we through her a quaint bridal party, here in the states before her big day.

One of the appetizers that were served was a magnificent Mini Tart that was loaded with a fabulously creamy brie cheese and topped with an assortment of earthy sauteed mushrooms. I am a huge fan of using mini phyllo cups, they are so versatile and can be used in either savory or sweet dishes. The texture of this magically cup is wonderfully light and airy, making you think that after indulging in 10 of these that you could possibly eat just one more.
