I love me some Fried Green Tomatoes! As my lustrous produce is dwindling away in our garden, and I am maxed out on canning tomatoes this year. I try to find recipes that I can incorporate my select few remaining garden variety treasures. Baby D and I wiped up a batch of these beauties today for lunch. The crunchy exterior crust that has a hint of earthy thyme, pairs fantastically with the juicy sweetness of the tomato. It really is quite challenging only to eat your recommended serving size. A sheer southern delicacy in my book!
