Meet Percy he is Baby D's pony! Bless his heart, he is one heck of a pony. I am a strong believer in purchasing horses/ponies who have been around the block a time or two. Ones that are older, and can withstand inexperience (note the lead rope is over Percy's head below) and have the ability to compete in the rodeo arena at a slow pace.
We wanted to find a pony that also didn't mind distractions such as dogs running underneath them (note the Louie below). Thus far, Percy has exceeded all expectations that I have previously set for him.
Baby D is now all about even dressing the part when riding Percy. He feels that he must ware the appropriate attire; "Cowboy boots", "barn jeans" and a "tractor shirt". Is our little farmboy turning into a cowboy? Perhaps that is my wishful thinking?
Sincerely,
Farming Fabulously
